The concept for the Molly Millions project was inspired by a trip to Hong Kong and the novel Neuromancer. As an outsider looking in on this amazing city, Hong Kong was exactly how I envisioned the urban landscapes described by William Gibson in Neuromancer. It was Chiba City come to life. Hazy backstreets, survival of the fittest, endless blocks of concrete buildings and flashing neon lights on every street filled the city... along with a vibrant underground culture. The local music was exciting to hear... everything from old jazz to breakbeats to future electornica echoed from block to block.

After spending several nights roaming this 24 hr city, I realized that this is the future. The combination of new and old, all crammed in together into 1 giant concrete jungle driven by technology. I left HK with the revelation that urban landscapes like this will eventually consume every inhabitable piece of land.

The Molly Millions album is heavy on the ear for hypnotic jazz and electronica. These 9 tracks provide a soundtrack for all the midnight marauders across the globe as we trek through this technologically changing world.
